Florida · Adults, children and complete beginners

No experience,
and none assumed.

Most adults who want to paint do not start, because every class seems to assume you already can. Beginner here means beginner — the first session starts at holding the brush.

How we work

A Florida studio, careful about safety

LMN Arts LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L20000188074, filed in 2020, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations.

Instructors working with under-18s are background screened and a parent or guardian completes consent, emergency contact and allergy details before a child attends. Children's classes use materials labelled non-toxic. Adult classes sometimes involve solvents, fixatives or dust-producing media used with ventilation and instruction — tell us beforehand if you have asthma, a respiratory condition, allergies or are pregnant, and we will arrange alternatives. Photographs of work or classes are used only with written consent.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

I genuinely cannot draw. Is a beginner class really for me?

Yes, and most of the room will say the same thing on the first evening. Beginner courses start at how to hold a brush and how to look at something — nothing is assumed.

Do I need to buy materials?

No. Materials are included in the class fee. If you later want your own, we will tell you what is worth buying and what is not.

Are the instructors background checked?

Yes, for anyone working with under-18s, and a parent or guardian completes consent and emergency details before a child attends. It is worth asking this of any studio.

My child has allergies. What should I tell you?

Everything relevant on the registration form — allergies including latex, asthma, and anything else. Children's materials are non-toxic, and we will adjust where we need to.

Can I just try one session?

A weekend workshop is the best way. One day, one technique, everything provided, and no commitment to a course afterwards.

What happens to my work?

You take it home. Anything left at the studio for a long while after a course ends may be disposed of, so collect it or tell us.

Been meaning to try for years?

Come and see the studio first. No obligation, and beginners are the normal case.
